Thanks to our Synthetic ice, this program enables your child to learn the basics skating skills (some children might need parental assistance)
** 3 years old and up **
On the Synthetic Ice, your child will learn how to get up, skate forward, backwards, gliding and stopping. This is usually done within the first 3 lessons and all without a skate aid or parental assistance. Incorporating practice on the real ice as much as possible will also aid in their progress. Our student / teacher ratio is 6 to 2.
This is a 30 minute class, the lesson is 20 minutes and 10 minutes of supervised free skate at the end of each class.
Children will need a hockey helmet with a face mask, gloves or mitts and skates should be sharpened.
